Oh my goodness...how time flies!! I have been very busy working on multiple weddings, birth announcements and now even corporate holiday cards. I had some mini cards to put together and while working on these cute little Halloween ghosts I realized that my design was very similar to the Peachy Keen challenge #37. http://www.peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/

With this particular challenge there was a sketch to follow and you had to use kraft paper somewhere....hmmm, love kraft paper!

Here's the sketch....challenge is over on Oct. 3

Here is the mini card & coordinating mini envelope I put together.

Happy Wednesday my crafting friends!

Wow...where has the time gone! Summer is officially over here, kids back in school & for the first time in 9 years I have 2 -1/2 hrs. each morning to myself while our youngest is in Pre-K. The first couple of days were a little sad but I have quickly gotten over that and have found it to be quite useful!

Emma at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ is having another Throwback Thursday challenge. This week the theme is Princess. Of course our youngest here is our little "princess" and she is having her first little ballet recital. I put together a little card for her to go with her flowers. Adorable! Love all the great inspiration from this site...keep up the great work Emma!

I can't believe it's already Thursday again...time for Emma at My Creative Time and her Throwback Thursday :) http://www.creativetimeforme.com/. This week she is featuring Paper Dolls Dress Up and it must be a 3D project or altered project. This week I have been co-chair of the snack time at our VBS. We had a great group of gals that have been helping us all week. We wanted to make some little goodie bags to say thanks for all their hard work. Our theme was Galatic Blast, and we had some great treats for the week. Of course keeping the space theme in mind I wanted to create something with "solar flare". Using Everyday Paper Dolls I created these great treat bags, best part...I used only scraps ;) --Using Emma's gift bag idea...thanks Emma!!

Emma at My Creative Time http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ is hosting another Throwback Thursday. This week she is featuring the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. I'll be honest, this is one I don't regularly use. It came with my Expression and hasn't been used but only a handful of times. It seems awfully cute, just never exactly what I'm looking for. I decided to use the pretty swirl to add to my husband's anniversary card. We celebrated 11 great years this past Saturday.

Emma at My Creative Time at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ has started a new Throwback Thursday, using older Cricut Cartridges. This Thursday she is featuring Animal Kingdom (or animal theme if you don't have Animal Kingdom). I don't have this cartridge but I do have the fun Zooballo. So I decided to use the adorable elephant.
Supplies: Cricut Cartridge --Zooballoo, Patterned paper --DCWV, Solid Paper --Paper Studio, Riboon --??

It has been quite crazy around here the past few weeks. I finally finished a wedding I have been creating invitations for and have a few moments of time to create what I personally need to before I start working on more weddings. Here are a few cards that I have made over the last couple of weeks. I don't have all my material listed so if you are interested in what I've used feel free to contact me..happy looking.

My Pink Stamper & Designers are having their first challenge. The Color Challenge is to create a project using the Cricut using the colors pink, green and black. Head to her link www.mypinkstamper.com to see all the really great projects :)
Perfect timing as I am needing to make a card for my son's student teacher's last day. I decided to make a really pretty bookmark and get a gift card to Staples.

Also, his teacher has asked me to help put together a gift basket & surprise class project for their student teacher...any suggestions?

Supplies: Papers (Making Memories, DCWV & my stash), Ribbon (Michael's), Pearls (Recollections & Paper Studio), Glitter (Martha Stewart), Cricut Cartridges (Plantin Schoolbook, Wild Card, Sweet Treats & Home Accents)

Supplies:
Ivory & Orange CS (Paper Studio), Yellow Polka Dot (DCWV), Ribbon (American Crafts), Cricut Cartridges used: Everyday Paper Dolls --umbrella, cloud & rain drops (Provocraft), Stamp (my own deisgn created by OneFourZero)
