Couples Wedding Shower

Wow....today's themes for special events are sporting a more unique theme. My latest invitation for a couples come & go shower (sort of an open house shower) was Ghostbusters....interesting, eh! Apparently the groom loves ghostbusters and dinosaurs and was not allowed to use these items in the wedding but the future bride agreed to let them have some fun with the shower...
who ya gonna call?

Acutally it turned out rather fun & they love it --that's all that matters!

Thowback Thursday Challenge

Hi all --decided to join in on Emma's challenge this week, had a few minutes during stay home snow days to make some cards & get caught up on invitations I'm designing.

This weeks challenge at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ is to pull out the Wild Card or Just Because cartridges and use a stamped sentiment. I only have Wild Card, so...here's what I came up with. I needed a gift card holder for a Thank You & found this one. I'm happy with how it turned out.

Off to get more done....starting a "normal routine" again here. I've pretty much had my kiddos home for the last 2 weeks...love them, but....it was time to go back to school before they ended up home longer for recovery from hurting each other ;) Really --I do believe CABIN FEVER has hit at our house!

Baby Shower

Jungle Theme --The hot trend right now in baby decor. I am working on my 3rd set of baby shower invitaitons with a jungle theme. This particular invitaiton I had free reign on how I wanted to create it, soooo...I had some fun.

Just wanted to share....stay warm all my midwest friends ;)

Cricut Cartridges used: Zooballo (monkey, vine & palm scene), George Basic (Rectangle)
I used the Gypsy to weld palm scene & rectangle together
