Time for a Valentine's post...for Christmas my sweet DH got me Graphically Speaking (which I believe he got at Menard's...which of course is his favorite store). It is an older cartridge and I didn't realize how neat some of the cuts are. I thought I would use the "together" cut...so pleased with how this turned out!
Decided to go ahead & submit this for the Imagine Challenge on Emma's blog www.creativetimeforme.com. I don't own an Imagine, but wanted to get started on my Valentine's cards.
Happy Wednesday my friends!

PK Sketch Challenge --Sort of ;)
2 posts in the same week....I'm thrilled! Let's see if I can keep this up...only if it is for myself ;)
I was inspired...key word is inspired, to create this cute little birdie card for my mom-in-law's birthday with the Peachy Keen sketch #43. http://www.peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/.
Here's the sketch:

I know it didn't turn out exactly like the sketch but I love how it turned out ;)
Next time I'll do a better job at sticking with the sketch & actually using my PK stamps!

Baby Name Collage
Wow...2 posts in 1 day...I'm even impressed!
We were very blessed over the holidays with 2 new babies. I wanted to make very special baby gifts for these sweet little girls. I found a really great website for baby name collages http://www.aimitup.blogspot.com/, she makes the most absolutely fabulous collages for babies, weddings, etc...and I thought I would give it a try. Go take a look --they are really BEAUTIFUL!
Here is one that I created for our niece, Jolie. I LOVE IT!!!!
Here's a close-up...see all that pretty texture. It's hard to tell in the photo but I used that beautiful core'dinations shimmer paper for all the solid pink....SO PRETTY!!! Then I blinged it up with the great Imaginisce I-Rock tool & jewels.
I forgot to take a photo of both of the name collages that I created so I had to ask for this photo to be taken...I'll try to get ahold of a photo of the other one of our great neice, Annabelle.

Disney Character Autograph Book
I cannot believe how far in between posts I am...my New Year's Resolution is to at least post monthly ;) I hope this is an obtainable goal, I'm feeling much more in control right now, or at least I think so.
Over Halloween we took our first trip to Walt Disney World and we had a fantastic time. Of course for the trip I had to create an autograph book for the kids to collect their favorite (or any that came along) character autographs.I am including my original creation in which I was completely thrilled with and was well received by many of the talking characters. Hope you like!
Cricut Cartridges Used: George Basic (rectangles), Disney Mickey Font (font and Mickey ears). I also used the Gypsy to weld letters together and to the rectangle.
