Color Challenge for Birthday Sundaes #23
Needed a birthday card so decided to play along with Birthday Sundaes --Color Challenge #23.
Check out their fun challenges and great inspiration at http://birthdaysundaes.blogspot.com/
The color challenge this week is pinks, greens & white. The photo doesn't quite do it justice, the colors really do coordinate much better in person than they do here....just a very simple and quick card. Actually put together 5 of these in no time. Love to have extras on hand!
Have a great day!

It's back to school day for us! I cannot believe how fast this summer flew by --so sad to see it end! But so happy that the kids are ready to go back to school.
While the kids are away, my goal is to play...a little bit each day. This is something that I do each year for the kids schoolwork, that I intend to keep, to showcase in their school scrapbook albums. It is a pocket that I created using the Cricut and my favorite "school" font, Mickey Font. I cut out the word schoolwork and use the negative as the pocket, placing a coordinating color behind the negative to show through. Then I use tacky tape to hold the pocket onto the background paper. I usually only put about 10 of my favorite worksheets for the year in here.
I'm submitting this page for the Cricut 360 --Back to school challenge. Check out the great website here http://cricut360.blogspot.com/

Wow!!! It has been FOREVER since I've posted....It really has been FOREVER since I've gotten to do any crafting or scrapping for myself.
I needed to work on a sample idea for a client and thought it would be perfect for the MPS blog hop! Visit www.mypinkstamper.com to see more.
I absolutely LOVE making these bookmarks from the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. They make gifts with a book, a card to attach to a gift, or in this case great advertising!
